INDIA FILMMAKER AWARD

Set up by Sony India and Creo, the India Filmmaker Award recognises outstanding filmmaking talent from across India, helping to bring greater local and international recognition to filmmakers and their work.

One filmmaker will receive the title of India Filmmaker Award Winner.

The recognised filmmaker receives:
	Award Winner
Trophy	x
Certificate	x
Promotion via Sony channels	x

All filmmakers residing in India who enter the Fiction, Non-Fiction or Animation categories of the Sony Future Filmmaker Awards are automatically considered for the award, with no additional entry process required.

Deadline is December 15 2026, 6:30 PM IST

* Participants must have Indian residency and reside in India during the period of the Award being open for entries (July 2026 - December 2027).
